Grilled Mediterranean Tuna Steaks


Grilled tuna touches the Mediterranean with tomato, olives and basil.

SERVES: 4
PREP TIME: 5 Minutes
COOK TIME: 20 Minutes

Ingredients

3/4 cup Tomato, chopped
1/4 cup Feta Cheese, crumbled
2 T. Kalamata or Ripe Olives, chopped
3 T. Fresh Basil or Oregano Leaves, chopped
1/4 cup Olive Oil
1/2 tsp. Garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 Tuna Steaks

Directions

	Step 1: In medium bowl, gently toss tomato, cheese, olives and 1 tablespoon of the basil. Cover and refrigerate until serving.

	Step 2: Spray grill rack with cooking spray. Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat.

	Step 3: In small bowl, mix remaining 2 tablespoons basil, the oil, garlic salt and pepper. Brush mixture over tuna.

	Step 4: Grill tuna uncovered 4" from medium high heat for 5 minutes. Turn carefully; brush with any remaining oil mixture.

	Step 5: Grill 1-15 minutes longer or until the tuna reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees. Serve topped with tomato mixture.
