Grilled Asian Tuna Steaks


If you want a great tuna recipe this one is it and it is very easy to grill. It was so easy to make and the soy sauce flavor brings this dish to life. Serve this with a great wine you have a wonderful meal.

SERVES: 2
PREP TIME: 5 Minutes
COOK TIME: 12 Minutes

Ingredients

1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. sugar
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 green onion, finely chopped
2 - 6 oz. tuna steaks, about 1" thick

Directions

	Step 1: In a 8" square glass baking dish, combine all ingredients except the tuna steak, mix well.

	Step 2: Add tuna to coat. Let stand while grill is heating, remove tuna from soy sauce mixture; reserve mixture.

	Step 3: Place tuna on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4"-6" from medium coals. Cover grill; cook 10-12 minutes or until internal temperature of fish is 145 degrees, turning once and brushing frequently with soy sauce mixture.

	Step 4: Bring any remaining soy sauce mixture to a boil in small saucepan. Serve tuna with warm soy sauce mixture.
